Terms of Service

Last updated: April 24, 2026

By using Pigge, you agree to these terms. We've tried to keep them readable. Please actually read them.

What Pigge is

Pigge is a tool that helps groups split restaurant bills. You or someone else scans a receipt, everyone claims what they ordered, and Pigge calculates each person's share including tax and tip.

Pigge does not process payments. When you tap "Pay via Venmo" (or any other payment method) in Pigge, we deep-link you to that third-party app. We never hold your money, never move money between accounts, and are not a money transmitter. Any money you send flows directly between you and the recipient through their payment app.

Using Pigge

You may use Pigge if you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission. Pigge is not designed for children under 13 and we ask that they not use it.

When you use Pigge, you agree to:

The host's role

The person who creates a split (the "host") is responsible for:

Disputes between users

Pigge is a tool that helps you and your friends divide a bill. We are not involved in any financial transactions between you and other users. If someone doesn't pay, or pays the wrong amount, or disputes a claim, that's between you and them. Pigge can't reverse Venmo transactions, force someone to pay, or mediate disputes.

Your content

When you use Pigge, you may enter information (your name, items you claim, etc.). By doing so, you grant us a limited license to display that information to the other guests and host of the same split. You retain ownership of your content.

Our service

We do our best to keep Pigge running, but we make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or availability. Pigge is provided "as is." If we're down during your dinner, we're sorry, you'll have to do the math the old-fashioned way.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Pigge (or any part of it) at any time. We'll try to give you notice when we can.

Payment app disclaimers

Pigge deep-links to third-party payment apps like Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, and Apple Cash. We're not affiliated with any of them. Those companies have their own terms and policies that you agree to when you use their apps. Pigge is not responsible for:

Intellectual property

The Pigge name, logo, pig mascot, code, and design are the property of Ghost Bloom Labs LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Pigge and Ghost Bloom Labs LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of Pigge. If a court decides we are liable for something, the total amount we owe you is capped at $20 or whatever you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ghost Bloom Labs LLC from any claims arising from your use of Pigge, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and try to notify you within the app. Continued use of Pigge after changes means you accept the new terms.
